SMS Special Offer for South Africa before April price rise
Last year, we completed a full integration of Engage with our International SMS Service provider, Twilio, and undertook to subsidise the SMS costs substantially for all our SA Engage Schools.
As our schools know, this full integration offers multiple benefits.
Twilio has recently increased their charges forcing us to review our pricing. Having surveyed many South African schools, Engage has pledged to continue to subsidise the cost, and trusts you’ll agree the new rate is fair.
March 2020 – Special Offer
For March 2020, only, Engage has a special offer for its South African schools and is offering SMS bundles at the original price of 16c/SMS + VAT.
Twilio bundles are available in the following quantities:

- 20,000
- 40,000
- 80,000
- 100,000
April 2020 – SMS price rise
From 1 April 2020, the local South African charge will have to be 34c/ SMS + VAT. Therefore, we encourage you to purchase your SMS bundles before the price increase.
