Lu-Ann previously worked with schools as a marketing consultant and fund raiser where the accuracy of schools' data was key. This knowledge plus her skills as a trainer, makes a perfect combination as an Engage Support Services Consultant.
Peter recently joined Engage in South Africa as a Schools Account Director. Having worked with independent and fee-paying schools in the UK and Internationally for over 30 years, Peter has extensive knowledge of the market and believes strongly in a consultative sales approach.
Born in Johannesburg and educated at Pridwin Prep School, Johannesburg, Mike has over 20 years' experience of delivering complex IT projects in public and private sectors. Mike has led worldwide Engage Implementations since 2011 and has a detailed understanding of the needs of schools and school groups. He is also a keen youth team rugby coach
Paul joined the team in 2000 as a programmer and rose quickly to manage the development team, the entire technical programme and Engage development plans. Paul engages frequently with schools and school groups to ensure that Engage delivers exactly what is expected.
Having joined Double First in 2008 as a web developer tasked with creating the Engage Portal System, Ian became Web Development Team Leader a year later before taking responsibility as Development Manager in 2016. All developers report to Ian and every one of the millions of lines of code in the Engage systems are written by his team.
13 years with the company as a Software Tester and System Analyst gave Charlotte a deep understanding of Engage which led to her role of Product Manager. As such, Charlotte is responsible for the delivery of plans to see the product grow and embrace the future needs of our Engaged schools.
Carole's career began in accounts and IT Support before becoming a Bursar in a fee-paying school. Given Carole's wide and knowledgeable experience, she joined Double First. Carole has responsibility for delivering world-wide support for Engage, based on more than 20 years' experience our school management and finance systems
Joining the team in September 2008 and working in the Support and Training teams, Miriam is now the Global Training Manager leading the team of Engage and Engage Accounts Trainers. Miriam’s background is post-compulsory education and training. Outside work Miriam enjoys running, horse-riding and time outdoors.
As Chief Revenue Officer for our parent, Education Horizons Group, Barry is responsible for sales of all Education Horizons products globally. Barry is married to Charlotte and has two children. In his spare time, Barry enjoys running, golf and reading.
Kim has been with the team since 2008 and worked closely with Engage in South Africa since its inception. A specialist in personnel development, change management and marketing, he also has a keen interest working with youth and school performance art groups in the field of lighting design and technical theatre and he and his wife are foster parents within their local community
