Peter Heginbotham joins the Engage team
Whilst the demand for Engage increases, we are delighted to welcome Peter as another permanent Schools Account Director to our Engage South Africa team.
Peter has been directly involved with school management information systems for over 30 years, concentrating on independent and fee-paying schools in the UK and internationally.
‘Having previously visited South Africa with a competitor’s product, I’m excited to return and to be here permanently – especially with our award winning Engage,’ said Peter, adding, ‘I started working with schools in 1988 when most computers still relied on floppy disk backups and the Internet was unknown!’
Peter has held many positions during this time, from support, training, documentation, customer management, development, implementation and finally sales and account management. Strong customer service and satisfaction has always been close to his heart and a key focus.
With his wealth of experience of school processes including Admissions, Administration, Academics, Old Scholars and school Finance, Peter understands the different requirements and implementation models schools might need to follow.
Peter believes strongly in a consultative sales approach. ‘I’d be delighted to visit your school to learn of any needs the school may have. I’m happy for you to take advantage of my somewhat vast experience.’
Engage is so pleased that Peter brings his knowledge, permanently, to South Africa. Peter is married and has three children.
