Tyrone joins the South African team
With more schools taking Engage, we are delighted to welcome Tyrone to our growing team.
Former Teacher
Tyrone has a BA in Sports Communication from the University of Johannesburg after which he coached cricket and rugby at St John’s College.
St John’s to St Stithian’s
Moving to St Stithian’s Boys College, Tyrone completed his teaching internship and taught Geography, Life Orientation and Physical Education.
St Stithian’s to Curro to Engage
Before joining Engage, Tyrone was the Grade 8 and 9 Phase Head at Curro Aurora High School.
On being offered the position at Engage, Tyrone said, “I want to say a big thank you for giving me the opportunity to join the Engage team. I am really excited about this opportunity and feel privileged to work with the team here in South Africa and all the Engage colleagues abroad. I can sense the passion that the South African team has for Engage and it’s certainly rubbing off on me, already!”
With two daughters, his hobbies include rugby, cricket and cycling.
